Bonnie Lee Darling of Middletown CT, fell asleep in death with her family by her side early in the morning on Jan. 29th. She is pre-deceased by her father Robert R Darling Sr. She leaves behind her mother Leona M Munson, and husband Frank Munson, her two brothers Andrew Darling and Robert Darling Jr. Her three sons, Rick Parenti and his wife Gabrielle Parenti, Kurt Sheltra Jr., and Kyle Sheltra. Two grandchildren Christopher and Levi Parenti, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and aunts who were by her side constantly. Bonnie graduated from Vinal Technical High School specializing in cosmetology. She had worked as an office manager for a local car dealership and later a furniture retailer, notably having been awarded for having the cleanest paperwork in the entire company chain. Most importantly though, she is known by many for her caring and loving heart, helping anyone in need. She was always there to give a listening ear and a safe harbor from a storm of life. Her contagious laugh would always lift the spirits of those around her. Even in her final days she would extend herself to thank those who cared for her and pay them a compliment no matter how tired she was. She was truly loved and is missed deeply by all who knew her. The family would like to thank those in the hospice team of MH and the staff at Wadsworth Glen for their kind care. A special thank you also to her best friend Carlene Sheltra for always standing watch so the family could take rest. Arrangements are to be announced at a later time for the family.
